Best Curry to Date

Long story short: It's a great shoe for lightweight guards! I've used the Curry 2, 4, 5, 6 and now the 7. All things considered the newest iteration is definitely the best performer of all these shoes. My former fav was the 6 followed by the 4 & 2, although you had to be lucky to NOT have a piece of the sole just rip off with the 6. But lets get back to the 7. TRACTION Great traction even on dusty courts. It's not squeaky (interesting for the ones who love that squeak sound when instantly stopping on hardwood courts). Traction was always superb with pretty much every Curry though. CUSHION Like with all Curry shoes you don't buy them for a hefty pillow-feel. Court feel is what you're looking at here. HOVR & MicroG is there, but more on the out- than on the inside. It's for marketing basically and only a very narrow layer than you can't really feel that much. For those who are looking for cushioning it's Curry 2 (A) and Curry 7 (B) though. LOCK-IN Once you slip into the shoe and lace it up it feels like your foot/ankles are locked in as safe as some diamonds in a safe. Can't complain here. STABILITY Super stable and responsive feel to the shoe. Even though it's a low cut shoe, you feel more stable in these than in a lot of mid or high cut basketball shoes. If you're prone to rolling your ankles, tries some Currys. MATERIALS That's my biggest and basically only complain. I feel like the Curry 4, 5, and 6 had premium materials. Even the 2 had premium materials where it mattered most. When it comes to the Curry 7, the mesh upper knit feels a bit outdated to what's on the market these days. Don't get me wrong: The materials perform perfectly fine and should be extremely durable, however... the mesh just doesn't look as good as some of these high tech new materials the Curry line already had in use. Considering that the shoes are more expensive than the previous ones the step backwards when it comes to the upper material feels a bit unwarranted. PRICE The price is okay for what you get (speaking of performance here). Considering the price the upper mesh material could be exchanged with something more premium though. CONCLUSION Definitely my fav Curry so far! Great feel on foot and a great performer on the court. With the cushion setup I'm not sure how the shoe performs for Centers and heavyweights, for leightweight guards this is definitely one of the best shoes on the market.

Great shoe

This is a great basketball shoe in every aspect. The only thing I would change is somehow strengthen the sole in the heel area because it wears out very quickly. The ball of the foot woke area does not wear but the heel needs to be more durable. Still this is an excellent shoe!

SC!

Great shoe for performance they fill great on feet plus they look great what else can you ask for in a shoe it’s the hole package!

Curry7 blue/neon

Shoes feel tight first few times wearing them. I have a narrow foot so they fit good after the break in. Really sharp looking shoe.Might be a issue if you have a wide foot.

Ankle Blisters Everywhere

The shoe as a whole is decent, but one major flaw is that the tongue cuts into my ankles. Both ankles have blisters in the same area and playing in the shoe is extremely painful. The sour patch colorway is great but the pain from the tongue itself is unbearable to play in and forced me to resort to other shoes.

No Grip

Shoes are super comfortable and look awesome. I’ve been hooping in them for about a month and they still have terrible grip. Very unfortunate

Curry 7 Sour Patch Kids

Awesome shoe! Traction was one of the best traction I’ve used! Very good heel cushioning. Materials are a bit thicker than last years model the Curry 6. Very nice heel to toe transition. Fit was great, comfort was great, and the shoe was top notch for performance. Very good Looking shoe and I loved the colour! I also watched other YouTubers unboxing the sour patch kids colourway and they got the sour patch candy with it. I opened my box and there wasn’t candy inside. Very good looking shoe and great performance basketball shoe. Good job!

Bad Ankles

At first sight, this looked like a comfortable shoe. Once purchasing the shoe and playing in them, I realized how uncomfortable they were. My ankles are getting bruised and red and it doesn't feel good. Also, the sole and forefoot both aren't that comfortable. These would be way better will softer foam and more ankle cushion.

The grip of the shoe

They are great shoes I love them they give great support and control when I am playing basketball.

GOOD SHOE

The shoes are great i have the first colorway that dropped. It is comfortable and it is super great. But i find it hard to get over that that the shoes does not squeak. But the squeak does not really matter overall the shoe is a great performer indoors or outdoors
