Great for cold weather hiking and jogging

I bought these pants to try because all the other weather resistant jogging and workout pants didn't have a fly that worked. I go hiking and jogging early in the morning up on the trails and have wet fog and mist or light rain to deal with. It is a real hassle to undo sweat shirt and belt to get to the waist tie on sweat pants or jogging pants so I tried these and they work great. Unzip and zip up and back on the trail again. However the zipper is a little on the short side, it could be a little longer down into the crotch. The front pockets are very shallow, my keys fall out when driving. The buttons on the back and side pockets are a pain to open and close. So I just slide things into the pocket between the buttons or leave one button undone. The pants fit and move great from jogging to working out they are comfortable. Adjust the pockets and zipper length and you would have a real winner.

Good Practical Trousers

I actually really like these trousers. They fit well and I have found them comfortable to wear for relatively long periods (I use them for work). As yet I haven't had an opportunity to test them in heavy rain but they have performed well in the showers I have been caught in to date. Their design is robust and I would expect them to last judged on the quality of their build. If I could improve one thing about them I would add a couple of smaller internal paockets within the cargo pockets. I have a couple of pairs of trousers by different manufacturers with this feature and it is very useful when carrying phones and small tools on site and you have to climb around (please take note under armour).

Top trousers

I love the fit I am an athletic shape so getting bottoms to fit is difficult but they are very good and very nice to where .

Great pants

Pants are as expected - tough and very comfortable. Pockets are big enough and they are a good loose fit. They do run very long though. I bought 32 long and should have gone for a 30 at the most. I would buy these again.

L/E Approved

I LOVE THESE PANTS! The offset belt loops are great for mounting my holster and badge. The knee, butt and crotch are very durable and still breathe well. This pant is very good for spring, summer and fall. But I don't recommend for winter. The breathable material let's too much cold air in.

Excellent outerwear

These are excellent for normal, everyday wear, and for certain outdoor activities. They would not be appropriate for a day hike, for example, since they run slightly baggy. For jobs involving heavy lifting or ‘patrol’ as the name states, they are perfect. I wear them like a casual pair of jeans around town, but not in a professional office setting. One minor caution: they may right slightly long in the inseam. I generally wear a 32 length true to size, but I often have to roll these up once to match my step evenly (38/32). Second minor caution: the two cargo pockets have a pair of buttons each, and one of these fell off quite easily, with the stitching undone. I may have pulled it myself, though, because I generally don’t want a cargo pocket fully closed so that I can go in and out easily to get whatever’s there. Great for many reasons. One surprising bonus: both cargo pockets have a kind of webbing designed for a knife maybe, but they work great for a smartphone, holding it in place in the center of the pocket, even during moderate activity like riding a bike across town. I didn’t expect that feature, and am pleased every time I use it. Also, I should mention that the fabric is excellent: relatively lightweight, yet strong material, that seems to be also largely water resistant, certainly more than a pair of jeans. These are not winter pants, in other words, though could be combined with additional layers and worn year-round.

Not waterproof

Not waterproof as hoped. Nice light weight pair of trousers but bought for shooting out and about in the elements. Sadly in the rain my legs were soaked through and running into my boots. Good pair of every day trousers but not for poor or bad weather

My wife talked me into getting these and I’m glad she did. I work as a flight engineer for an airline and I’m always up and down and constantly moving. In hot weather in Arizona or very cold in Canada and these pants are perfect! I wear the under armour cold weather gear underneath and it’s perfect.

Comfy but not stormproof!!

Great fit trousers. For someone over 6'3" it's rare to get them long enough. Really comfortable with slight stretch on waistband. My only issue is that I thought they had some water resistance; they dont! Admittedly it was heavy rain, but got wet quickly!! They did dry out really quickly, but slightly disappointed. It's not going to stop me getting another pair in the future.
